Born in 1981 in a remote mountain village of Yamaguchi Prefecture, his greatest childhood pastime was climbing trees.

That all changed the moment he encountered Super Mario Bros. on the Famicom—tree climbing instantly became obsolete, and from then on, he set his sights on becoming a game creator.

He began developing games on his own as an elementary school student.

After graduating from a vocational school, he joined a game company as a graphic designer.

After ten years of working as a company employee developing games, he went independent and resumed creating games solo.

Currently, he runs his own company while supporting aspiring game creators.
